Lara Kolesar is a somatic practitioner and guide whose work centers on helping individuals reconnect with the wisdom and intelligence of their bodies. With extensive training in Massage Therapy, Pilates, Gyrotonic, Yoga, somatic modalities, and Heart IQ Circle Facilitation, Lara offers a unique approach that integrates breath, movement, touch, and body-mind inquiry. Her workshops and retreats create compassionate spaces for self-discovery, transformation, and greater alignment with life’s natural rhythms.

In her work, Lara draws on her own journey of healing and transformation, as well as her extensive hands-on experience working with diverse clients. She believes that somatic practices are not just tools for personal growth—they are pathways to living with authenticity, joy, and ease in an ever-changing world. Her vision is to inspire others to embrace the body as a guide and ally, unlocking their potential to live fully and vibrantly.

  • Not at all! This training is designed for all levels—whether you’re completely new to somatic practices or have prior experience. All you need is an open mind and a willingness to explore.

  • Yes!

    The Body As Muse Method Trainings build on each other, and you will be able to go deeper into the process each time. Your capacity for somatic awareness expands as well.
    Building somatic awareness is like nurturing a relationship with an old friend. The more time you spend together, listening and engaging, the deeper the connection grows. It’s through this consistent attention that trust and understanding flourish.

  • Each training session is a guided exploration of somatic awareness and sensory intelligence. You’ll engage in practices such as gentle movement, breathwork, and touch to connect deeply with your body’s natural rhythms and intelligence. The sessions create a safe and supportive space where you can:

    • Tune into your body’s signals with curiosity and care.

    • Release tension and explore new pathways of ease and flow.

    • Integrate your insights through guided practices that anchor clarity and connection.

    While every session is unique, you can expect to leave with a sense of greater embodiment, a renewed connection to yourself, and practical tools to carry these insights into your daily life. These sessions are accessible for all levels of experience, whether you’re new to somatic work or have an established practice.

  • This workshop is designed to help you connect with your body’s natural intelligence, which can often bring awareness to the root of physical pain or discomfort. Through somatic practices like gentle movement, breathwork, and sensory exploration, you may discover ways to release tension, ease restrictions, and develop a deeper sense of alignment and flow.

    While this work can be supportive for those experiencing physical discomfort, it’s not a replacement for medical treatment. If you’re dealing with severe or chronic pain, we recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before attending. This workshop is most effective as a complement to your overall wellness journey.

  • This workshop is designed to support individuals in reconnecting with their body’s innate intelligence, offering tools to navigate emotions and build resilience. If you’re experiencing anxiety or overwhelm, the practices we explore can be grounding and empowering.

    However, if your anxiety is debilitating or you’re in acute emotional distress, we recommend seeking the guidance of your healthcare provider before participating to ensure this is the right fit for your needs. Your well-being is our priority.

  • We understand that life happens, and plans can change. If you need to cancel your registration, here’s how we can accommodate you:

    • Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the workshop: You’ll receive a credit for the full amount of your registration fee, which can be applied to a future Body As Muse session or workshop of your choice.

    • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the workshop: Unfortunately, we won’t be able to offer a credit due to the preparation and limited space for these events. However, you’re welcome to transfer your spot to a friend—just let us know in advance!
